Reinforcing its commitment of #poweringprogress, De Heus India recently organized a knowledge transfer tour to Vietnam for a group of progressive poultry farmers from Punjab & Haryana. The visit provided participants with an opportunity to experience advanced poultry production systems, innovative nutritional practices, and modern farm management techniques adopted by farmers and De Heus in Vietnam.
The program commenced with the farmers' participation in the inauguration of De Heus Vietnam's newest feed manufacturing facility in Vinh Long.
As part of the tour, the Indian delegation visited commercial Layer and Broiler farms that run fully on De Heus nutritional programs. Farmers witnessed how precision nutrition, superior feed quality, biosecurity measures, environmental management, and data-driven decision-making contribute to enhanced productivity and profitability. The farms demonstrated practical examples of modern poultry production systems that align with global standards while maintaining a strong focus on sustainability and animal welfare.
A major highlight of the tour was an in-depth tour of De Heus' Research and Development facilities, where participants gained valuable insights into ongoing advancements in poultry nutrition, feed formulation, performance optimization, and responsible farming practices.
