De Heus Animal Nutrition is an international producer of a complete range of compound feed, premixes, concentrates and feed specialties. Our customers are small and large farmers, integrations and dealers. We provide them with nutritional concepts that ensure maximum animal health and optimal performance. Allowing them to feed their poultry, pigs, ruminants and aquaculture every single day.


Job description:

You are responsible to help translate the commercial strategy of De Heus India to operational marketing and communication plans. You give content and substance to a variety of marketing and communication methods and channels where you support the introduction of new products and services. You also build and strengthen the De Heus brand in the livestock and aqua feed market and manage to increase the popularity of the brand from a marketing perspective.  The sales managers and field staff are supported by clear campaigns and easy to understand marketing materials that supports their work in the field. On-line communication and social media have no secrets for you.  

In close collaboration with your management team and with your global & regional marketing colleagues you determine which marketing initiatives would support sales best and which would help growing the De Heus brand in India, with a focus on the states we actively pursue sales. You adjust international examples to your specific market and customer preferences- and keep your sales colleagues engaged. You ensure that media, website and social media are complementing each other towards clear commercial goals. Key responsibilities:


  • Set up and coordinate campaigns for pre-determined product groups in alignment with sales and product managers.
  • Identify and monitor product feedbacks, complaints and communicate timely with relevant departments to find solutions.
  • Through regular market and customer visits, develop ideas for product development to support sale volume development and customer satisfaction together with Product and Sales Managers


  • Marketing materials: Responsible for marketing materials (including but not limited to product catalogues, services, leaflets, introduction, copywriting, print, gifts).
  • Coordinate with all departments to keep track of marketing material requests, distribution and inventory.
  • Perform quality control on marketing materials.
  • Come up with creative ideas for new marketing materials that could help customer satisfaction and boost sales.
  • Brand Identity: Ensure that all internal and external activities follow De Heus’ corporate branding guidelines


  • Events: Take responsibility in Event planning, implementation and evaluation for all events in India (factory opening, exhibitions, customer’s appreciation party, MoU signing, new product launch, seminars, tours…) and coordinate with relevant departments to uphold the image and brand of De Heus
  • Communication: Create content, articles and PR articles, press releases
  • Social media: Take responsibility of all social media channels- build content and followers. Ensure timely response to customer / stakeholder questions  
  • Campaigns: Execute marketing campaigns (digital & physical) to promote product sales and increase brand awareness and customer loyalty.


  • Conduct market research of activities in the value chain where De Heus operates
  • Collect data on different customer segments, competitors, market prices,...
  • Collect data on key industry trends, general socio-economic, political, sustainability, legal and regulatory, trade
  • Perform basic analysis of the information collected to uncover market opportunities and address business issue


  • Bachelor/Master in Marketing or Business


  • 2-5 years’ experience in Marketing (Depends on level of job)
  • Affinity with agriculture is an advantage
  • Experience with (digital) marketing and communication
  • Multimedia experience: writing content  

Additional Requirements:

  • Travel is required
